Shot 97 Game Review

 Shot 97 is a unique platformer where you play as an alien with superhuman strength who can leap over walls and kill enemies with a single jump. As you progress through the game you face many death traps that require twitch reflexes and solve puzzles. The game concludes in a dramatic scene where you are left nearly dead after an enemy alien leaves you with no legs, but before your death your friend carries you away while some quite touching music plays.


The player’s ability to jump and shoot is impressive but the main focus of the game is the puzzles. There is a lot of variety in the puzzles including a few that are particularly challenging and require a bit of thought. There are also a few interesting boss battles that are well animated and add to the overall gameplay experience.


The game’s graphics are well done and the soundtrack is good. The controls are easy to use and the camera is well positioned. Overall the game is a fun and enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels.
